Description : The Airport Authority Hong Kong (the "Authority") is undertaking to expand the existing two runway system at Hong Kong International Airport into a three runway system (3RS). This will include, among other things, expansion of the airfield and construction of a new Terminal 2 (T2E) and a Third Runway Concourse (TRC). The Authority hereby invites sub-contract tenders on behalf of the main contractors for Contract 3508 - Terminal 2 Expansion Works, Contract 3408 - Third Runway Concourse and Apron Works and Contract 3310 - North Runway Modification Works (the "Main Works") for the design, supply and installation of Closed Circuit Television Core Systems for T2E, TRC and Airfield (the "Sub-contract Works"). The respective contractor of the Main Works (the "Contractor") will ultimately take up the responsibility for delivering and completing the Sub-contract Works as part of the Main Works. Accordingly, the successful tenderer for these three sub-contracts will initially be named in the tender documents for the Main Works as "named sub-contractor" for the Sub-contract Works and ultimately required to enter into a domestic sub-contract with the respective Contractor after the award of the Main Works contract.The successful tenderer will be required to sign an Intial Agreement (Contract 3922) with the Authority for performing certain pre-contract services and undertaking other tender obligations. A nominal fee will be payable to the successful tenderer for such services and undertaking under the Initial Agreement. The Authority hereby invites tenders from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to design, supply and install the Sub-contract Works.
