STUDY FOR DELIMITING THE PROTECTION ZONES OF COLD-KRANOULAS AND LONGADAS DRILLING FIELDS The estimated value of the study amounts to 976, 023.61 euros plus VAT. The object of this study is the determination of the protection zones, the Kryas drilling fields - Valves that connect and discharge the Mitsikeli subsystem and the Loggades hydrowell field, 162.16 km2 in area. The study requires a series of investigations, recording and capturing of information, including but not limited to the following: • Presentation of geomorphological, geological, hydrogeological, climatic and morphotectonic conditions prevailing in the watershed and study area. • Determination of the hydrogeological catchment basin and assessment of their catchment zones of drilling fields of the Underground Water Systems (GWS), or the sources, in combination with the GWS differentiation of the Management Plans. • Interaction of underground systems with dependent surface water bodies and terrestrial ecosystems, as defined in article 8 Appendix II of the Public Order 39626/2208/E130/2009. • Presentation of the quantitative and qualitative situation of the HYS and the spatial and temporal changes. • Water balance assessment. • Assessment of the pollution reduction mechanisms (attenuation) in the case HYS • Registration of water intake points • Determination of criteria for the demarcation of protection zones, determination of permitted uses and proposals for protection measures.
