Description: In a passive transmission network, the active power flows on the lines are usually set according to the effective line impedances. As a result, the active power flows cannot be directly influenced. In order to increase transmission capacities that are not yet fully used, consideration is given to integrating power flow-controlling equipment (e.g. phase-shifting transformers or equipment based on power electronics) into the transmission system. A superordinate control concept is required so that error-free interaction of several such operating resources is ensured not only in normal operation but also in the event of a fault. This control concept must also be robust enough to integrate power flow control equipment with control time constants of different sizes. The present request for quotation is intended to discuss the question on which the planned study is based and its objectives.
