Structural design of the Kilpinen school renovation The object of the procurement is the implementation planning of the renovation of the school building. The goal of the project is to prepare coordinated and feasible plans for the renovation of an existing building in such a way that the technical, functional and health level of the building is brought up to current requirements and the facilities serve the use of teaching activities. Implementation planning includes architectural, structural and building engineering planning (HVAC and electricity) and the coordination of these design fields. The renovation is to be carried out partially so that school activities will continue at the school partially. Laser scanning has been done at the site, which serves as the starting point for implementation planning. It is about existing renovation of the school building, which is why the design emphasizes taking existing structures and systems into account and coordinating design solutions. Implementation planning is done based on a data model as a three-dimensional model, which used in planning meetings and user collaboration.
