Street lights - LED replacement as well as operation and maintenance Background Tjeldsund municipality must upgrade and further develop the street lighting network to ensure a more reliable, energy efficient and predictable solution throughout the municipality. Parts of the street lighting network consist of older people luminaires with sodium bulbs of 70 W with increasing error frequency and varying technical condition, which results in increased maintenance requirements and unpredictable operation. The municipality needs to replace old fixtures with LED fixtures in order to reduce energy consumption, limit errors and facilitate higher uptime. At the same time, the municipality wants to establish a function-based model for operation and maintenance, so that the follow-up of the street lighting network takes place more systematically and with clear responsibility for the supplier. The street lighting network consists of altogether approx. 2, 400 units and are geographically spread to all the extreme points of the municipality and consist of facilities of different ages and quality. approx. 800 of the old Na lights have been replaced with LEDs. The posts consist for the most part of old wooden posts and a lift must be used on many of them. This places demands on a supplier who can handle both planned replacement and ongoing operation in a municipality with relative distances. The existing control solution is essentially uniform - Datek - and new fittings must be adapted to this. The acquisition will collectively contribute to modernizing the facility over time, prioritizing replacement where the need and profit potential is greatest, and ensuring residents a more stable and functional street lighting offer.
