Expression of Interest are invited for Strategy for Bus Fleet Renewal in Sarajvo Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Description: The Terms of Reference (ToR) define the objective, scope of work, technical requirements and expected outputs of a consulting engagement that will provide inputs for the World Bank to advise client government on the introduction of e-buses. This advisory engagement will evaluate fleet renewal strategies for e-bus transition in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) (the “Project”). More specifically, the Project will examine the current models for provision of bus fleets and services and evaluate the changes and new approaches needed to procure and finance e-buses at scale based on global best practices and applicability to the Balkans region. This Project will engage with key stakeholders and operators at the early stages to build a solid foundation of understanding the feasibility of implementing a renewed business approach to fleet renewal that enables a transition to e-buses and complements limited public resources with private financing and expertise.
