Background This document responds to the decision of the University Council of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) to develop its own Academic Aptitude Test (PAA), with the aim of guaranteeing a inclusive, equitable and effective admission system for entry to higher education. Since 2006, UNAH has administered a test designed by the College Board; However, it has been decided to develop a contextualized test adapted to the needs specific to the Honduran educational system. This project aims to improve the student selection process, aligning with the principles of inclusion and equity established at the III UNESCO World Conference on Higher Education (2022). The project to develop an academic aptitude test responds to the need to transform and improve the student selection process in the country's universities.
