The Town of Balgonie is seeking a consultant to develop an outcome driven strategic plan that directly support identified needs for our diverse community. The Town of Balgonie is seeking an experienced professional facilitator to perform the following: Facilitate one or more sessions with the Town Council, staff and ratepayers to identify the Town-s vision, mission, values, goals and objectives. Facilitate the strategic planning process. Work with the Town Council and staff to gather data through research and community input to identify how the Town-s values and purpose can be aligned with the Town-s Official Community Plan, priorities, needs of the community to the basis of the Town-s strategic focus for the next 10 to 15 years. Community engagement is a key component of this planning process, and may include: Focus groups / public input sessions / individual reviews; Paper / online survey; Phone follow-up interviews; Other methods as identified by the consultant. Oversee the development of the strategic plan that will be communicated to the Town-s residents and stakeholders. The final delivery will include specification of the Town-s purpose, values and core services as well as clearly defined areas of strategic focus. All raw and summary data is to be delivered to the Town of Balgonie at the conclusion of the planning process.
