FII seeks to establish a qualified supplier list for strategic advisory services offered by vendors with mid- to senior-level experience and qualifications that demonstrate their ability to incorporate the needs and input of senior-managers and executives, industry sectors, research institutions, forest product customers, as well as government (at the provincial and federal levels). Services required may include Reviewing and advising on opportunities/risks, content and technical accuracy: Forest and wood product market development strategies and market research developed for existing and emerging forest products markets, Domestic and offshore market opportunities, activities, negotiations or agreements that may be pursued by FII alone or in collaboration with its partners, Product development opportunities to increase offshore exports of specific categories of B.C. forest fibre, species and products, Forest product market access and acceptance issues and responses, including environmental and human rights, Wood manufacturing and construction industry trends and business practices, and FII and naturally:wood-published research and information materials.
