THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ORDER AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.
This contract action is for the acquisition of supplies/equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b). The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) intends to award a single source purchase order to Badger Gary J, Orleans, VT, for the acquisition Statistical Support Services.
The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) seeks continued statistical support of the ongoing research designed to evaluate the effects of stretch on tumor growth using a breast cancer model.
These services include, but are not limited to, consultation on experimental design, sample size and power calculations, statistical analyses and manuscript preparation. The subject, has been the Biostatistician for the Connective Tissue Section since 2019, bringing deep, unique and highly specialized knowledge of our mechanical effect on tumor and inflammation models. This expertise has been instrumental in experimental design, including sample size determination and power calculations, ensuring scientific rigor and reproducibility across studies. Advanced statistical analysis and data interpretation support is needed, along with clear and effective data representation that strengthens the quality and impact of the section-s research efforts, forward-moving NIDCR/NIH mission.
The anticipated period of performance will be:
June 1st, 2026 through April 1, 2027
