Background Stockholm's electricity grid is facing extensive modernization. Ellevio runs a perennial investment to increase operational reliability, create flexibility in the city's electricity distribution and secure capacity for future energy needs. This investment includes upgrading 233 grid stations of type O77 and V77 within Ellevio's concession 48. The substations in these facilities are approaching their technical and regulatory lifespan, and many stations have components and building elements from the 1980s. This is an opportunity to be a central actor in one of Stockholm's most extensive modernization projects for electricity infrastructure. 3.
