Oulu's urban environmental services procured four (4 pieces) pedestrian and bicycle traffic counting points. The task of the counting point is to carry out a continuous calculation of the amount of pedestrian traffic and the amount of bicycle traffic passing the counting point. The calculator will count passing traffic 24/7/365, i.e. every day of the year. The calculation point must be suitable for typical northern Finnish conditions and the calculation must be reliable in different weather conditions. There are already more than 40 in Oulu counting points, some of which are based on traffic light induction loops, some on separate counting points and some on display board counting points. The equipment to be purchased now replaces broken calculation points. The request for quotation applies only to equipment acquisition, the computing points to be acquired will be installed by existing service and maintenance contractors.
