A new public transport hub is to be built at Brunnen train station in the next few years. In addition to the larger offering from the SBB and the higher frequency schedule from the AAGS, a higher volume of individual traffic can also be expected. The station square will be The heart of all traffic flows and can be seen as a new center. The quality of stay should be perceived as improved by residents and tourists and should be part of Brunnen, Ingenbohl and the Schwyz basin as an identity-forming place. The area should be read as a coherent perimeter from the edge of the platform to the neighboring property “Bahnhofsmärcht”.
