​The Auction Board of the Highways and Transportation Authority (the Authority) will receive proposals in closed specifications for the contracting of the above-mentioned project. Bidders must file their proposals at the Office of the Auction Board located on the Eleventh Floor of the Authority, on or before 2:00 pm on June 23, 2026. The proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud in a virtual meeting (WEBEX) on June 24, 2026 at 10:00 am. Invitation will be sent to said meeting to anyone who has submitted their proposal so that they can connect to it. All necessary information, as well as the contract and proposal documents, can be obtained at the Estimates and Auctions Office of the Authority located on the 11th floor, of the South Tower of the Roberto Sánchez Vilella Government Center (formerly Minillas), (787)721-8787, extensions 51132 or 51134, from the day of publication of this notice, until two business days before the date set for the opening of the documents through a non-refundable payment of $150.00. THESE DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY IN DIGITAL FORMAT TO BE ACCESSED FROM A LINK THAT WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU VIA EMAIL. Said payment must be made in cash, money order, Visa or Master Card credit cards, or ATH debit card in the Authority's Treasurer's Office, located on the 7th floor. The payment receipt must have the exact name of the company that will present the tender or otherwise it will be rejected. The estimated cost of construction of this project is $5, 000, 000.00. Every proposal must be accompanied by a provisional bond (“bid bond”) equivalent to five percent (5%) of the proposal and subject to the conditions expressed. in Article 102.08 of the General Conditions and a current copy of the certification from the Bidder Registry of the General Services Administration.
