Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) - Northeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division (NEHO-CD) in support of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center-s (WRNMMC) Radiology Department is requesting a sole source contract with COX SUBSCRIPTIONS, INC. for a STATdxR group license. DHACA intends to award a firm fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, to the COX SUBSCRIPTIONS, INC., with a base period plus 4 one-year option periods. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition, under the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
STATdxR is a valuable diagnostic workflow tool providing decision support in helping to reduce diagnostic errors and is especially valuable when diagnosing rare or complex imaging cases. STATdxR is an expert-based online decision support tool covering thousands of radiologic diagnoses with expert-selected and annotated image examples. These diagnoses can be searched directly by name or indirectly through differential diagnosis modules. StatdxR is a website that the Radiologists use to reference images for patient diagnosis. STATdxR has been used at WRNMMC and many other military/civilian medical centers as a resource to improve diagnostic radiology interpretations during routine daily clinical care.
