Stabben Fyr - Exterior rehabilitation 1.0 Orientation about Stabben Lighthouse: The lighthouse was put into operation in 1867. The lighthouse building is pitched and stands on a high gray stone wall and has a low roof tower. The tower was built higher in 1905 and a 4th order was then inserted lens apparatus that is still in use. The lighthouse station consists of the lighthouse building itself, a boathouse and a landing which are close together on the small islet. In 1975, the lighthouse was automated and unmanned. The Stabben light station is one of the most distinctive light stations in the land and buildings cover almost the entire islet. Because of this, the first station is protected under the Cultural Heritage Act. 2.0 Today's status Today's status is stone and concrete walls, the paint is worn, and needs maintenance in the form of scraping and painting. It is a walkway around the building, which hangs on jacks fixed in the foundation wall, on this walkway there is a wooden deck. This is worn and needs to be replaced. Railings at the station are to be repaired. The facade of the house is covered with Eternitt, this is to be dismantled and cleaned. New ones must then be installed concrete-based replacement slabs in the same size and design as the existing ones. All windows and doors must be re-glazed on the outside, just like the existing ones. The cladding and roof of the sea house are worn. Cladding that is damaged must be replaced with new before it is due scratched and painted in the same way as existing, gates must be rehabilitated and painted.
