SPOT Device Satellite Communications Service Plans, State of Oregon - SPOT Trace Annual Service Plan and SPOT x Annual Unlimited Service Plans - Brand Name or Equal REQUEST FOR QUOTEINTRODUCTIONThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06, effective October 01, 2025. This acquisition is being conducted using full and open competition. DESCRIPTIONThe US Geological Survey (USGS), Oregon Water Science Center (ORWSC) of Portland, OR, requires satellite communication services for SPOT devices as described in the attached Statement of Work. The USGS requires a base year plus one option year. RELEVANT INFORMATIONThe North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 517410 Satellite Telecommunications, and associated size standard $44 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code DE11 IT and Telecom - Mobile Device as a Service. Service plans MUST provide coverage across the entire state of Oregon in both urban and remote settings.QUESTIONSAll questions must be sent directly to eadam@usgs.gov by Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:00am ET.
