The region needs to replace a SPECT/CT camera at Nuclear Medicine, Imaging and Functional Medicine, Norrland University Hospital in Umeå. In Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT is currently used for examinations of the heart, kidneys, adrenal glands, skeleton, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, the lymphatic system, in the investigation of certain unusual tumors and in dosimetry. The system must be able to produce both planar images and SPECT/CT, and be equipped with collimators for measuring low, medium and high energy photons. CT of the equipment must be able to produce images of full diagnostic quality.
