Small and medium-scale industries with an annual turnover of less than Rs. 675 million and less than 125 employees can apply for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification. Eligible industries include those producing processed food products, value-added tea-related products, value-added spices, coconut and coir-based products, and milk and milk-based products. Certification fees up to a maximum of Rs. 100, 000 will be reimbursed upon submission of certificates and bills. Industries must have successful production records for one year and should not have received similar benefits from other government institutions during the certification process.
