The Directorate General Air Transport (DGTA) is responsible for overseeing the aviation sector in Belgium with the aim of ensuring the safety, security and sustainability of aviation. Given the increasing digitalization and growing threat cyberattacks in the aviation sector, it is essential that the DGTA has specialist expertise in information security and cybersecurity. This contract concerns the appointment of an information security expert and in Cybersecurity, who will play a key role in supporting management-s oversight missions. The expert will make the link between technical knowledge in information security and cybersecurity and the operational reality of the aviation supervision, and will contribute to strengthening the resilience of the Belgian aviation sector in the face of information security and cyber threats. The information security and cybersecurity expert must be based on the requirements set out in Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1645, in Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/203 and in the sections of PART-IS relating to EASA AMC and GM. In addition, the information security and cybersecurity expert must know the obligations arising from the NIS2 law.
