Solicitation Description : The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is requesting proposals from qualified respondents to provide services, activities, and professional development for College, Career, and Military Preparation staff and CTE Education Service Center Staff that address the promotion and understanding of non-traditional fields and employment activities for Special Populations students (as defined by Perkins V) as well as address equity and access. (Section 122(d)(7) of Perkins V) as written into the Perkins V State Plan. Special Populations Means- a) individuals with disabilities; b) individuals with economically disadvantaged families, including foster children; c) individuals preparing for non-traditional fields; d) single parents, including single parent women; e) displaced homemakers; and f) individuals with limited English proficiency
