Tender Details

Tenders are invited for The subject of this tender is the Reconstruction of the Cemetery Boundary Wall at Misraħ San Girgor, Zejtun. The works shall include: a) Careful dismantling of masonry and other building materials of existing boundary wall, load and cart away accordingly; b) Carefully set aside railings/gates, decorative/sculptural ornaments, including moulded caps terminating pilasters, for re-use; c) Laying of soft stone ashlar (tal-franka) single/double parapet walls fair faced on both sides; d) Forming of chamfered edges, vertical/horizontal ‘membri-, and ‘membri- having the shape of quadrants; e) Construction of a curved corner; f) 14” top rail of parapet wall; g) The possible need to take up existing foundations and reconstruct accordingly; h) Cleaning and relaying in their original location of decorative/sculptural finials and the moulded work crowning the pilasters; i) Backfill with suitable material, compact and top up with 100mm concrete screed behind new boundary walls.
