Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. SFMTA-2026-51-LOC: Southwire Bronze and Alloy (Alloy80), Grooved Contact Wire **On June 8, 2026, the Addendum No. 1 was posted. **On May 26, 2026, the Questions and Answers No. 1 was posted. **On May 22, 2026, the Pre-Bid Conference Presentation was posted. The SFMTA is seeking qualified suppliers to submit bids for the procurement of Southwire Bronze and Alloy (Alloy80), Grooved Contact Wire as detailed in IFB Attachment D (Bid Sheet). The Southwire Alloy80 Grooved Contact Wire Product Data Specifications are included as IFB Attachment C. Warranties and lead times must also be provided in attachment D. The SFMTA may award a Purchase Order to the Bidder that meets the Minimum Qualifications (See IFB Section V) of this Solicitation whose Bid is the Lowest Responsive Bid. Responsive Bids will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined herein. If applicable, the SFMTA-s Contract Compliance Office will assess Bid compliance with Local Business Enterprise (LBE) requirements and assign a Bid Discount to eligible Bids. The SFMTA encourages Bidders to attend a Virtual Pre-Bid Conference on Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00 PM PT. Bidders may register for the Pre-Bid Conference and submit questions following the instructions included in IFB Section I.D. The SFMTA will address Bidders- questions and will provide any new or additional information concerning the IFB at the Pre-Bid Conference. The IFB and associated documents are attached to this Sourcing Event. If you are interested in submitting a Bid, please follow the submission instructions provided in the IFB document. Bids will not be accepted through the City and County of San Francisco's Supplier Portal website.
