BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to improve operational efficiency and add needed program spaces to the South Mountain Secure Treatment Unit. This facility is the only Secure Treatment Unit in the DHS portfolio without a Dining Area. Work includes but is not limited to an addition providing kitchen/dining/laundry areas, administration offices, and a vocational classroom. Other work includes renovations of the office and loading dock areas, conversion of the gymnasium to a weight room and modifications to the secure perimeter fencing.ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $7, 700, 000.00.
