Description

The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Supplies and Services (GSS) Portfolio, Customer Supply Center Division (CSC) and its acquisition branch (Special Contracting Branch A) is seeking information related to how vendors could provide comprehensive logistics support services to GSA-s 4th Party Logistics (4PL) program at the following South Korean U.S. military locations: Osan Air Base, Kunsan Air Base.

The goal of any potential resultant acquisition related to this RFI would be to establish a contract to provide logistics support services to support GSA-s 4PL solution including material management, analytical support, inventory/asset management, information processing, logistics program management services and support, and associated administrative tasks.

To fulfill this requirement, GSS requires comprehensive logistics support services in support of the CSC branch, 4PL Program.

The GSS CSC business line is responsible for the 4PL program and the management and implementation of its solution model in support of GSA-s Department of Defense (DOD) customers. The 4PL program offers commercial efficiencies to the federal marketplace and integrates the supply chain under a single point of oversight. The commercial efficiencies and advantages offered through the program include: more favorable pricing, “just-in-time” inventory, an increased breadth of products, standard ordering processes, packaging, documentation, and billing operations for requisition of industrial products and supplies.

To accomplish the 4PL model, the GSS CSC business line requires contractor support for material management, analytical support, inventory/asset management, information processing, logistics program management services and support, and associated administrative tasks.
