This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only as part of USDA ARS market research and does not itself constitute an RFQ. This requirement is covered under NAICS code 561210 - Facilities Support Services. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources; Small Businesses; HUBZone small business; service-disabled, veteran-owned small business; 8(a) small business; veteran-owned small business; woman-owned small business; or small disadvantaged businesses; Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Pacific West Area (PWA) Western Regional Research Center (WRRC) is planning an upcoming requirement for Operation & Maintenance (O&M) support services at its facility located at 800 Buchana Street, Albany, CA 94710.
O&M support services provide the full range of operational and maintenance support to the WRRC. These services shall be provided to the entire complex, including existing buildings, greenhouses, structures, and appurtenances, and renovated facilities. Facilities operations and maintenance functions shall include, but are not limited to, the areas of work management, preventive maintenance, building maintenance, alteration and repair, installations, grounds maintenance, utilities, including heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR), electrical, plumbing, housekeeping, and administrative services.
