1.0 DESCRIPTION
The 30th Contracting Squadron is issuing this Sources Sought announcement to conduct market research for a new requirement for comprehensive vehicle fleet maintenance and repair services for Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), California.
The primary purpose of this market research is to:
Validate Technical Requirements: Solicit industry feedback on the feasibility and clarity of the requirements outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Assess Local Vendor Capability: Determine the availability and capability of qualified local sources to support this requirement.
Refine Acquisition Strategy: Gather information to mitigate risks and develop a sound acquisition strategy prior to issuing a formal solicitation.
The Government anticipates establishing one (1) five-year (5), Multiple-Award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) under the authority FAR Part 12 commercial procedures. The total estimated ceiling for all BPAs combined is $4 Million. Individual orders placed against any BPA will not exceed the current Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) $350, 000.
