DESCRITPTON: As directed by West Point Superintendent, we hereby change the nomenclature from Plebe Cadet Plumes to: SHAKO FLOWING FEATHER PLUME.
HEIGHT: 16 inches overall from top of feather to end of longest feather (+ or - 1 inch tolerance).
SUPPORT WIRE: 12-1/2 inches in length.
FEATHER: Rooster Coque - Domestic feathers with varying lengths of 3-7 inches and should flow the plume socket wire.
COLOR: Iridescent Black.
WEIGHT: Not less than 3 ounces or not more than six ounces in total weigh.
APPEARANCE: Full and round with an average diameter of 3-4 inches the full length of the plume. Bottom Feathers should flow past the plume socket wire by at least ½ inch.
PACKAGING: Each plume comes with a durable, reusable, storage tube 2 1/2 to 3 inches in diameter.
