Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide a security alarm transmitter that has equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the Telstra Remote Telemetry Ultra-High-Speed Telemetry Communicator Model UC-440.

FY25 MCON Project P-941 Maintenance Support Facility, Royal Australian Air Force Base, Darwin, Australia and FY25 MCON Project P-949 Aircraft Maintenance Hangar, Royal Australian Air Force Base, Darwin, Australia each require one (1) security alarm transmitter with the following characteristics:

a. Must be fully compatible with the existing Telstra Remote Telemetry equipment at Robertson Barracks utilized by the Australian Defence Force. The existing remote monitoring system is comprised of Telstra Remote Telemetry UC-440 equipment, utilizing Telstra 3G/4G services.

b. Application: Transmit signals from the P-941 Maintenance Support Facility at RAAF Darwin, NT, Australia to the existing security monitoring center at Robertson Barracks, NT, Australia.

c. The input assignment shall match the existing Robertson Barracks Security Monitoring Center site convention.

d. Characteristics:

400-T communicator incorporating: router, activated SIM card, built in Wi-Fi connectivity, 4G cellular modem, ADSL modem, multiple Ethernet ports, serial ports and a USB port. Wired and wireless access: Multiple wired connection options - WAN, ADSL, BDSL, Frame Relay, Wireless 4G connectivity with fall back to 3G in non 4G areas. Security: IPSEC encryption, dedicated VPN access, ISO-27001 security certification.This notification is for market research purposes only to identify if other potential sources of supply can meet the requirements of the Government.
