This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. This announcement and related draft Statement of Work (SOW) is intended and published to seek interested firms to provide comments, suggestions, recommendations, hints aimed at supporting and improving the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ).
Intention of 31 CONS at a later moment, is to solicit and award an IDIQ construction contract, with projects based on a general Statement of Work (SOW) and further defined at the Task Order (T O) level. The SABER, will include work generally defined as non-complex, minor design and multiple project trades including, but not limited to demolition, asbestos and hazardous material (HAZMAT) abatement, architectural, civil and structural work, electrical and communication work, plumbing work, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) work and fire protection. Typical projects range from $2.500.00 up to $250, 000.00 with the aggregate maximum amount of the program including base, and all successive years not exceeding $9.9M. The total Period of Performance of contractual coverage shall not exceed five (5) years.
