ITEM DESCRIPTION - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Aircraft Subsystem Cable Assemblies to support the mission requirements of the US Naval Air Systems Command. The Government anticipates this procurement will culminate in the award of a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract. The cable assemblies procured under this requirement shall be manufactured in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and Performance Specification. The required delivery schedule will be specified in subsequent delivery orders, and it is anticipated that all contractors meet delivery schedule dates specified to be considered for the award process. All deliveries will be FOB destination, with inspection and acceptance performed at the government (NSWC Crane). This procurement of aircraft subsystem cables is in support of the US Navy UH-1, MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters. Cable requirements include, but are not limited to, Fixed Forward Firing Weapons (FFFW), Torpedo Umbilical Cable (TUC), and Sonobuoy Coil Multiplexer (SONOMUX) systems. May also support MK 44 mod 1 and 3 Gun Weapon System (MK44GWS), Remote Operated Small Arms Mount (ROSAM), Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher (ALGL), G-BOSS, and RAID, as well as emerging cable/harness. The approximate maximum contract award amount is estimated to be $12, 000, 000.00 USD.
As part of the proposal submission, two (2) different cable assemblies will be required to be submitted, as product samples, for each interested contractor. The product sample must be in conformance to all specifications and standards outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Product samples will be evaluated with a two-step process. Product samples that pass the Go/No-Go criteria, will then be evaluated under the full evaluation criteria. Product samples shall be provided at no cost to the government.
