THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). 1. Purpose.
This is a Sources Sought in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources for a contractor to provide comprehensive planned maintenance, continuous wireless condition monitoring, and alignment services for two critical pieces of equipment: Air Conditioning Unit 1 (ACU 1) and Air Conditioning Unit 2 (ACU 2). Both units are located at Edwards Air Force Base, Building 1030, for the 772TS/EWOX.
The purpose of this service is to ensure enhanced equipment reliability and prevent costly downtime by shifting from purely schedule-based maintenance to a data-driven model, utilizing a permanent condition monitoring system to trigger specific maintenance actions.
The resulting contract will include one (1) base year and four (4) option years.
2. Requirement.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, hardware, software, and expertise to transition the equipment to a monitored, data-driven maintenance program. The scope encompasses the following:
Permanent Condition Monitoring System (Base Year Requirement)
Installation & Integration: Supply and install a permanent, wireless condition monitoring system (including all necessary hardware and software) on both ACU 1 and ACU 2.
