INTRODUCTION:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, is issuing this Sources Sought notice and conducting market research as a means to identify the interest and capabilities of both small and large business entities to provide industrial maintenance services to the Soo Project Office (SPO) in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any cost associated with the submission of responses or comments.
BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Industrial maintenance services under this contract shall include, but are not limited to, the following items: elevator repair/inspection, hazardous material abatement / remediation, HVAC system inspections and maintenance, air compressor maintenance and repair. The Contractor and/or any of their subcontractors shall be fully licensed to perform the services requested of them, as specified by the relevant governing body or standard and all work shall be completed in accordance with all applicable regulations, including OSHA and EM 385-1-1 requirements.
