THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE SUPPLY CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division - West (HCD-W), intends to award a firm fixed price supply contract and preventive maintenance Two (2) Steris Medivators Advantage Plus Automated Endoscope Reprocessor (AER), Model ADV1007, along with installation, accessories, consumables, and a 2-year service agreement for each unit to support the operations Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Department at Naval Medical Center San Diego in Naval Base San Diego, CA and a Steris Medivators Advantage Plus Automated Endoscope Reprocessor (AER), Model ADV1008, along with installation, accessories, consumables, and a 1-year service agreement for the unit to support the operations Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Department at 374th Medical Group Yokota Air Base, Japan. The STERIS Advantage Plus system is the only AER compatible with our existing inventory of Storz, Pentax, and Olympus endoscopes. Implementing this system will standardize our processes with the rest of the hospital and increase our reprocessing efficiency by an estimated 30%. The purchase should include installation, all necessary accessories, initial consumables, and a service agreement for each unit.
