Description
Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), intends to issue a sole source award to TSS (Technical Safety Services), 251 Violet Street, Suite 110, Golden, CO for comprehensive testing and certification services for controlled environments and containment systems (biological safety cabinets, clean benches, fume hoods, animal stations, and cleanrooms). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations.
The anticipated period of performance is a base period of 12 months and four Option Years.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 561210 - Facilities Support Services with a size standard of $41.5 Million.
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this contract is for the contractor to provide services to certify that the chemical fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, cleanrooms, and HEPA-filtered animal cages are functioning properly. This contract will extend to existing chemical fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, cleanrooms, and HEPA-filtered animal cages, and any new chemical fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, cleanrooms, and HEPA-filtered animal cages purchased.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal NOR a solicitation of offers; However, if any party believes they can meet the above requirements, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if the party can perform all the requirements.
A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing and submitted to Margaux Nenichka, [email protected] no later than 04:00 P.M. on December 12, 2022.
