selkirk college seeks to implement a turn-key solar photovoltaic installation with a generation capacity of approximately 86kw. the client`s purpose for the project is to demonstrate renewable energy leadership on campus and throughout in the west kootenay. solar industry design-build contractors are invited as part of a competitive rfp tender process to supply quotations to the client, in accordance to the objectives and specifications included hereby.

a non-mandatory site visit will be available to proponents during the period july 17, 2019 to july 29, 2019. whereas this visit is optional, proponents are strongly recommended to visit and/or otherwise make themselves familiar with the castlegar campus sites and existing conditions prior to submitting a response and to make sufficient allowances for conditions related to the work. claims for an increase in contract price or contract time arising from observable conditions will be rejected by the college.
