The social Medical advice will be requested from the Contractor by the various departments/services of the municipality of The Hague and regional municipalities, which are responsible for the implementation of the aforementioned laws and regulations. The Legal Affairs department can also do this in the context of objection procedures, in some cases requesting new social medical advice. The purpose of the use of social-medical advice is to arrive at a correct determination of the right to the requested (customized) facility or compensation. The social medical advice relates to the physical situation of the applicant and may also relate to the mental situation of the applicant (psychodiagnostics).
