A new stormwater pipe will be built under the old Hämeenkyläntie. New spawning grounds for trout are being built in the riverbed and the flying squirrel connection passing through the area is being strengthened. - They cloud the water work is prohibited on September 1. - 30.11. in between. - The transfer of the Sänkipuisto bed must be done as a dry job. - Work affecting the bed and water quality can be started when the fry have been moved. The transfer will be made by 15 July 2026. - The work follows the Capital Region limit values for working in the vicinity of sensitive water areas in the construction site water guidelines. - 1.4. - 31.7. is the breeding season for birds in the Uusimaa area, when cutting down trees is prohibited. Damaging important flying squirrel trees is strictly prohibited. Builder is the Public areas service of the city of Helsinki's urban environment department, which also acts as a customer in accordance with YSE 98. The works according to the contract documents must be ready and received and required by the authorities and inspection bodies inspections held as approved on 30 November 2026.
