INVITATION TO TENDERSmithers Regional AirportAirfield Lighting UpgradesThe Town of Smithers (the "Town") is seeking to undertake improvements to enhance safety of airport operations at the Smithers Regional Airport. As part of this work, the Town is proposing an upgrade of its airfield lighting systemsto ensure the continued long-term safety and reliability of the airfield.Funding in part for the project has been made possible in part through Transport Canada's Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP).Based on the submissions received under this Tender, the Town intends to immediately proceed toa construction phase of the proposed work.The Town invites open tenders from qualified Contractors for the contract:SMITHERS REGIONAL AIRPORTAIRFIELD LIGHTING UPGRADESin accordance with the Tender Documents, Specifications and Drawings.Tender package can be downloaded from MERx www.merx.com.
