Rusko municipal library acquires public outside the library1-2 automatic bookcases to be placed in premises (shop, school). From the bookcase, etc., the customer can use their library card and personal code number to borrow the material inside the device and, if the library so sets, also return materials and pick up reservations. The customer can tperuse the selection available on the device on the spot and make a borrowing decision based on it. The customer can see the physical pieces on the device. It is not possible to take songs from the device without lending them to the customer. The identification technology is rfid. It is required that Vaski-kithe technology in use in the warehouses can be utilized as such without separate work (e.g. in terms of data models and frequencies and possibly other related signal technology). Because the bookcase is connected in real time to the library database and customer register of the Vaski library teamn, it is possible to define the regulation, which Vaski library's materials are forwarded from the cabinet, and to check whether the customer has borrowing rights.
