Sludge collection and transport in the Kanta-Parain area The contract includes the collection of all sludge that the municipality is legally responsible for organizing (waste act, chapter 5 Waste management organized by the municipality, § 32 and § 33) with suitable equipment. Sludge are emptied from collection systems, which include e.g. sedimentation and closed tanks, small treatment plants and other groups of tanks. The contract area is located in the so-called to the Kanta-Parain area and Mielisholmen, Atu, Sorppo, which are behind the castle, and those that can be reached by connecting ship To the islands of Granholmen, Heisala, Björkholmen, Ramsholmen, Aspholmen, Kuggö and Pensari, which are on the route of Parain. Estimated annual emptying quantity 2400 pcs. Septic tanks and small treatment plants that enable eco-emptying are eco-emptied for transport vehicles with a two-part slurry tank. The contractor must eco-empty the precipitation tanks from January 2, 2028 at the latest. However, the contract can be started with equipment with a one-piece sludge tank, as long as the eco-discharge equipment (two-piece sludge tank) is in use from 2 January 2028. The works according to the unit contract price according to the contract will take place between April 1, 2027 and April 3, 2033. The contract can be extended with an option for 1-24 months, provided that the contractor's work performance meets the client's expectations and that is entirely possible in its current situation.
