Tender are invited for The scope of work for this project is the provision of construction activities for the construction of a new slipway extension at Fogo, NL, as is more specifically described below and in the Drawings and Specifications, subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:.1 Temporary removal and reinstatement, if required, of the existing armour stone, as noted on the drawings..2 Excavation (including rock removal if required), re-shaping, and placement of additional rock fill, as required, in the area of the new slipway extension to prepare sub-base for new construction. Cribseat excavation (including rock removal if required), to facilitate placement of the new slipway extension toe crib..3 Supply and installation of rock fill (100mm minus) underneath the new slipway extension sleepers and beams, as indicated on the drawings..4 Construction of a new timber slipway extension consisting of treated timber sleepers, beams, runners, decking, wheelguard, and new toe cribwork (concrete filled crib), as detailed on the drawings..5 Supply and installation of rock fill and armour stone along the both sides of the new slipway extension, as detailed on the drawings..6 Excavation (including rock removal if required) in front of the new slipway, as indicated on the drawings.FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITEBefore submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its s...
