Request for proposals are invited for Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City-s Shi Lake Ecological Environment Management Project--Lot 2 : Ecological Restoration Project
1.Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City Investment and Development Corporation(hereinafter called "Client") has applied for financing from Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") toward the cost of Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City-s Shi Lake Ecological Environment Management Project. The Client intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under the Contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued.
2.The Client now invites Proposals to provide the following consulting services (hereinafter called "Services"): Lot 2 : Ecological Restoration Project. More details on the Services are provided in the Terms of Reference (Section VII).
3.Project goal and objectives:The project aims at realizing water ecology restoration and smart water management of the Shi Lake region into a bio-diversified center and a rural wetland experience integrated in the Eco-city.This objective aims to solve four main issues: water security guarantee, water environment improvement, water ecology repair and smart water management.
4.The implementation of the project is divided in 4 Tasks:
Task 1: Prevention and control technology of agricultural non-point source pollution
Sub-task 1: Ecological and multifunctional buffer zones
Sub-task 2: Specific cultural practices
Task 2: Shihu Lake bioremediation and water quality assurance technology
Sub-task 3: Pretreated composite fiber floating wetland bed and biological contact
oxidation biofilm
Sub-task 4: Riverbank
Sub-task 5: Mudflats
Task 3: Wetland (treatment)
Task 4: Ecological continuities
The precise contents and detailed assignment of each task can be found in the Terms of Reference (Section VII). The consulting services will run through the project implementation period, i.e. from 2023 to 2028.
