The Architect of the Capitol has a competitive Full and Open requirement for a $150, 000, 000.00 Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for multi-disciplinary maintenance, repair and minor construction work, primarily in support of security projects. This SATOC will be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract and will include a one-year base period with 4 (four) one-year options, for a total contract period not-to-exceed five years. The total capacity of the base period plus four option periods shall not exceed $150, 000, 000.00. The individual task orders to be negotiated and awarded under this expected construction IDIQ contract will be firm-fixed price with an anticipated range of $50, 000 to $10, 000, 000.
Task Orders will involve a broad range of multi-disciplinary maintenance and repair, and minor construction work and may include a variety of trades such as carpentry, interior/exterior elements, mechanical, electrical, incidental to security construction.
The overall requirements for this program are new construction and renovation type upgrade replacements of features typically associated and repairs; forced entry and/or ballistic doors and windows, anti-ram devices, kiosks, security infrastructure, security cameras, card readers, access control devices, components of SCIFs, etc. Work may also include geo-technical investigation; exterior upgrades and repairs traffic & streetlight; roadwork; other force protection (AT/FP); type projects associated with campus organization existing buildings and grounds.
The contract may also be used for task orders expected to require design effort by the Contractor to purchase, fabricate and construct the items above.
