Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Forests is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Aleza Lake Research Forest Society (the “Supplier”). The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below. The Supplier will develop and deliver extension activities related to the 2025 Silvicultural Systems Handbook (LMH 79). This work may include, but not be limited to, the production of extension materials such as extension notes; the organization and delivery of online extension sessions; and the organization, coordination, development, and delivery of field-based extension activities. The contract will also include a train-the-trainer component, intended to build broader capacity by transferring technical knowledge and extension expertise from the core SSH authors to additional practitioners.
