Clark County invites qualified firms or individuals to submit bids. Questions regarding this bid must be directed to the Bid Contact listed in this bid.The "project" of which the "Work" of the Contract is a part titled Siegfried & Roy Park: Playground Replacement and is located at 5525 S Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119. The "Work" is described in the Project Drawings and Divisions 01 through 33 of the Project Manual.The work consists of the modernization of two (2) play areas of approximately 15, 860 sf, one (1) water play feature of approximately 2, 870 sf and two shade shelters of approximately 3, 840 sf. Work scope includes removal of all existing resilient poured in place surfacing, concrete base, all play equipment in the play areas, existing poured in place surfacing in the water play area (keeping the concrete subsurface except where noted on plans), removal of all fabric shade panels within project limits, and installation of new 2-5-years-old and 5-12-years-old playground equipment. In addition, install new sub-surface and trench drain drainage systems, new safety surface tile system with new concrete base, Type 2 aggregate subbase, and earthwork/finishing grading; complete with keyway and cushion/wear course (tiles) in both playground areas. In the splash pad area, repair existing concrete base and install a complete new resilient surface course over the entire splash pad area over new and existing concrete base. Between the playground and water play area, install a new trench drain separating the surfacing types, complete with keyway for splash pad surfacing. Replace all existing shade panels within project limits with new fabric shade panels.Construction includes all administrative work as outlined in the Division 01 General Requirements and the following using materials noted on Drawings and Specifications: Subsurface Conditions, Selective Site Demolition, Concrete Forming and Accessories, Concrete Reinforcement, Site Cast-in-Place Concrete, Miscellaneous Metalwork, High Performance Coatings, Playground Equipment, Waterplay Surfacing, Fabric Shade Structures, earthwork, aggregate base, concrete paving, concrete pavement sealants, playground tile protective surfacing, basic electrical requirements, equipment wiring connections, hangers and supports for electrical systems, raceway and boxes for electrical systems, identification for electrical systems, led exterior lighting, landscape irrigation, turf and grasses, existing tree and plant protection, pvc pipe storm drainage, stormwater area drains and inlets, and geotechnical evaluation report. Contractor to provide construction fencing and barriers to safeguard construction materials and prohibit the use of existing areas where construction is taking place during construction. All patch / replaced finish materials are to match existing adjacent materials in both style and classification. Contractor shall use nondestructive vacuum excavation methods for all required site excavation on this project.
