Synopsis: REQUEST FOR QUOTES FOR SHREDDING SERVICES:The Defense Health Agency National Capital Region Contracting Division (NCR-CD), Falls Church, VA is seeking quotes and/or proposals from prospective contractors that can meet the specific tasks as identified in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), under Part 5 "Specific Tasks". The prospective contractor shall provide fair and reasonable prices and demonstrate having the resources to support the Shredding Services requirement. The government has requested pricing for services that will be provided for each bin or container and will not consider alternate pricing for this service (i.e. weight). The contractor shall provide supplies and services to various department and locations throughout the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center complex to include the US Naval Dosimetry Center in Bethesda, MD. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM THE REQUIRED SERVICES AT WRNMMC INCLUDING THE NDC. *ALL QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THE SOLICITATION OR PWS IS DUE BY THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2019 AT 5PM.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SUBMISSION DETAILS: The contract type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. Payment will only be made for services performed.The estimated period of performance is anticipated to be a Base Year plus 4-Option Years, with a period of performance start date of November 5, 2019.Interested parties are requested to submit a 1) Quote and 2) Quality Control Plan as identified in the PWS Section 1.10.1. The deadline for response to this request is no later than 7:00 AM EST, October 28, 2019. All data received in response to this Combined Synopis/Solicitation that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.All questions must be submitted to the Contract Specialist identified. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to the this Request for Quote (RFQ).
