Short-term home Camp activities The framework agreement covers short-term stays for people with disabilities. Short-term stay means that a person with a disability temporarily, or regularly but not permanently, stays for a shorter or longer time in a short-term home. The purpose of a short-term stay outside one's own home is partly that the person should be offered a change of environment and recreation, partly so that relatives can thereby be relieved. Stays in short-term care homes are regulated in the Act on support and services for certain people disabled persons (LSS). The short-term stay intervention may be decided in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL). Requested service requires permission according to LSS § 9 § 6 short-term stay outside one's own home and ch. 7 § 1 § 3 p of the Social Services Act. The users can in addition their disability also have other problems. Short-term stay means that a person with a disability temporarily, or regularly but not permanently, stays for a shorter or longer time in a short-term home or participates in camp activities. The purpose of a short-term stay outside one's own home is partly that the person should be offered a change of environment and recreation, partly so that relatives can thereby be relieved.
