Description : BACKGROUND

In the context of the WHO Health Emergencies Incident Management System (IMS), the incumbent will focus on COVID-19 vaccine introduction for the Pacific, providing technical support and advice to counterparts in their efforts to prepare for the arrival, storage and roll-out of an eventual vaccine against COVID-19, as well as to monitor roll-out, community uptake, vaccine hesitancy and the impact of related interventions.

PURPOSE/SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY

The position is to provide support to the Member States on the technical and operational matters related to COVID-19 vaccine introduction.
