Tenders are invited for PPC-2022-PWD-008-RFQ - For Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (CIHSA), South Wing Accommodation and Support Building, Shell and Core - Civil and Fire Protection Engineering Design



The Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (CIHSA), is seeking Design Engineer Consultants to submit quotations for the South Wing Accommodation and Support Building, Shell and Core located on Block 14E Parcel 675. The Design Engineer consultants are sought to prepare Civil and Fire Protection Engineering Design documentation (Schematic Design, Design Development and Contract Documentation). The Design Engineer will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of documentation for both Consultancy Services. The Civil and Fire Protection Engineering Design consultants are required to be familiar with the Cayman Islands construction practices, Building Code and statutory requirements. The Civil and Fire Protection Engineer Design consultants are required to have their own software and hardware and the construction documents shall be prepared in compatible computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD or Revit The Civil and Fire Protection Engineering Design consultants will be expected to play the standard role of coordinating with the representative of PWD-s appointed Architect and Design team, in the Civil and Fire Protection Design engineering of common local construction types of structural solutions using standard local materials and methods. The works comprises the following: Construction of a New Office Accommodation and Support facilities at the Cayman Islands Hospital encompassing four (4) floors - Approximately 43, 940 sq. ft The works within this scope is the core and shell only and the building fit-out is a separate project that would be undertaken by others.
